Rheumatology is a subspecialty of Internal Medicine encompassing a spectrum of diseases often involving pain, inflammation and autoimmunity. Some of the conditions that are evaluated and treated include rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and lupus.
