What you’ll be doing

The overall responsibilities of the Escrow Officer is to oversee and fully support the direction and values of Precise Title by engaging in servant and good faith heart and behaviors while making all decisions keeping in mind what is best for our customers, our company, and our people. Fully leverage talents to continuously improve the health of the business and develop trust and confidence with teams, both internal and external. Take personal accountability to ensure we deliver our products with excellence!

 

You will be responsible for…

  • Oversee residential and commercial title closings from Contract opening to disbursement and post-closing
  • Supervise the preparation and delivery of all necessary Title and Escrow related documents
  • Review contract, title commitment, and lender instructions in order to prepare settlement statements and the necessary real estate documents for closing 
  • Obtain settlement statement approval from all parties within the transaction
  • Prepare the closing file for the funding and disbursement according to the company funding and disbursement guidelines
  • Prepare and resolve all post-closing reconciliation issues including company reports

What experience you’ll bring to us

  • Candidate must have an active Escrow Officer License in Texas 
  • Have excellent networking/marketing skills and the ability to gain and retain a book of business
  • Book of Business equaling 5-7 Closings a month
  • 5 + years as a licensed Texas Escrow Officer 
  • 5 + years as commercial and residential closing experience 
  • Complete knowledge and ability to handle a commercial and residential real estate transaction from the receipt of the contract through funding and disbursement 
  • Natural attention to detail and ability to organize and execute 
  • High level multi-tasking and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment 
  • Familiarity with MS Office
