DESCRIPTION:The Red Oak Baseball and Softball Association is hosting a Pitch\, Hit\, and Run Competition at the Red Oak Sports Complex on March 17th\, 2023. Boys and girls aged 7u - 14u are eligible to participate. 1st and 2nd place prizes will be awarded for each age division. Pitch - player gets 5 attempts to hit the strike zone. All pitches are totaled to give an overall score. Hit - players get 5 swings off a tee. Balls that land in fair territory earn points. All swings are totaled to give an overall score. Run - players get 2 attempts to run from home plate to first base. The fastest time will be recorded. Children 3u - 6u will have the opportunity to participate in a separate event on the same day. Concessions will be available for purchase. Following the event\, join us for a movie under the stars. Don't forget to grab your chairs and blankets. This event is free and open to the public.
