SUMMARY:Monthly Bricks 4 Kidz Night Out / Parents' Night Out
DESCRIPTION:Our Bricks 4 Kidz Night Out is monthly and full of a variety of fun for your kids (and a night out for the parents also)!\n\nKidz Night Out is from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Because of COVID-19\, I will have four different stations from which your kids can choose: figure build\, technic build\, mosaic build\, and spin art/paper crinkler. Enjoy a night out\, while your kids have fun and are protected by COVID-19 precautions! \n\nI (Irene Chomicki\, owner/director of Bricks 4 Kidz in Ellis County\, TX) have limited my Kidz Night Out to four children and me (one adult)\, making a total of five which is half Governor Abbot's July 2nd-proclamation of "people cannot be in groups larger than ten."\n\nI have also implemented several COVID-19 precautions:\n\n1. educating the kids about these precautions through a PowerPoint presentation and enforcing them during the night\,\n\n2. washing hands frequently and especially as each child moves from one station to another (saying\, "move and wash")\,\n\n3. building their models on stations 6 ft. apart with only one child working at each station\, and\n\n4. disinfecting all equipment before and after the Kidz Night Out.\n\nIt is optional for your child to wear a face mask\, but all adults need to wear one\, including me! The Lay n' Go (free play of LEGO bricks)\, giant bricks\, and LEGO zip line will not be offered this year. It would be difficult to enforce the 6-feet apart rule for those stations. I hope you understand that this protocol needs to be put into effect for the safety of your child.\n\nPlease pack a water bottle and a non-perishable\, peanut-free snack for your child for an energy boost during the night!
